Registering to Vote:
 
  • To register to vote, you must be:
  • A U.S. Citizen
  • Must be18 years old by Election Day
  • A resident of Michigan
  • A resident of Yankee Springs Township
 
Prospective voters may register to vote at any Social Security Agency, the township office or any Secretary of State’s Office. A registration form can be downloaded from the Secretary of State at www.michigan.gov/sos or obtained via the Secretary of State Office.
 
If you want to know if you are registered to vote, visit www.michigan.gov/vote. There you will find information about registering to vote, voting, voting equipment, polling place locations, and more.
 
If you are age sixty and over, you can request to receive an absentee ballot for every election by calling the Township office at 269-795-9091.
 
The Township Clerk, Deputy Clerk or Voter Registration clerk can help with questions about your voter registration or polling place location.
 
If you would like to apply to be an election inspector, please request an application form from the township office.
Voting Locations
Yankee Springs Township has two voting precincts. The locations for voting in each of the precincts are listed below. Questions regarding where to vote can be answered by calling the Township Hall at 269-795-9091.
 
Due to the new election consolidation laws, registered voters in Yankee Springs Township will vote in the same precinct location each time they vote. Please check your voting location on your ID card.
