Cemeteries and Plot Purchase Information
There are four cemeteries in Yankee Springs Township: Coman, Robbins, Bowerman (aka: Bowens Mill) and Yankee Springs Cemetery
Coman Cemetery is located on Shaw Lake Road between Briggs Rd and Norris Rd. The oldest burial date was recorded on April 20, 1843
Robbins Cemetery is located in section 19 on Chief Noonday Road (M-137) approximately ¼ mile East of Patterson. The oldest burial was recorded on March 28, 1822 (map to cemetery)
Bowerman Cemetery is located on Bowens Mill Rd, East of Norris Road.   The oldest burial was recorded on November 11, 1840 (map to cemetery)
Yankee Springs Cemetery is located one (1) mile South West of Yankee Springs Church on Duffy Road, just behind the Yankee Springs Church. North of Shaw Lake Road and West of Co. Rd 11. The oldest burial was recorded March 16, 1861. (map to cemetery)
Cost per plot for all Yankee Springs Township residents is $25.00.
Cost per plot for Non Residents is $300.00
Cost for the grave opening is $425.00
