The Wayland Fire Department requests prayers from the community for Fire Chief Jim Stoddard. On 04/26/2024, Chief Stoddard had a cardiac emergency and is currently in the critical care unit at Butterworth Hospital.

Voting Locations
Yankee Springs Township has two voting precincts. All residents north of West M-179 are in Precinct 1 and vote at the Yankee Springs Township Hall.  All residents south of West M-179 are in Precinct 2 and vote at the Yankee Springs Fire Station. Questions regarding where to vote can be answered at www.michigan.gov/vote or by calling the Township Hall at 269-795-9091.
 
Registered voters in Yankee Springs Township will vote in the same precinct location each time they vote. Please check your voting location on your ID card.
