DO NOT OPEN THE REAR DUMP DOORS ON ANY OF THE RECYCLING BINS FOR ANY REASON!

DO NOT REMOVE ITEMS FROM THE METAL RECYCLING BIN!

PLEASE! NO BOAT TARPS, RUBBER RAFTS/BOATS
SHRINK WRAP, BUBBLE WRAP ETC. are permitted in the recycling bins. These materials may be plastic, but they cannot be recycled because they wrap around the recycling machinery.

STYROFOAM CANNOT BE RECYCLED! DO NOT PUT IT IN OUR BINS!

The purpose of recycling is to reduce the amount of material going into landfills and to take advantage of materials that can be reused. Recycling is NOT the right way to get rid of unwanted junk!

Please follow all rules/instructions at our recyling center.  Plastic bags, TV's and styrofoam are some of the many materials that are not accepted. Acceptable materials are listed on the bin. If the bin is full, please return at a later time with your materials.

Do Not leave anything outside the bins for any reason. This is littering, not recycling, and you can be fined. Materials left outside the bins are put in the trash and are not recycled!

Please do not put non-recyclable materials in the recycle bin. If the bin is contaminated, the recycling center may not recycle any of the bins contents which wastes everyones' recycling efforts and dollars.
The township spends ~$40,000 for recycling each year.

The recycling bin is normally emptied on Monday and Friday mornings
. The use of a second bin during the summer and holiday seasons may disrupt the normal schedule some but is nessesary to handle the increased use during these times.

Thank you for your cooperation and for recycling!
